Being 5...

Dominic has informed me that he wants to ride a cow when he gets to be a cowboy.

He also wants to be an engineer when he grows up, but he really means a "train" engineer.

When we discuss the future, and how learning at school will help get him a better job so he can buy his own house and whatever else he dreams of some day,  Dominic has made the decision that he would rather just live with us forever.  (ahhh... probably won't feel that way when he grows up, but I'll take it for now).

Being 3...

Elliott likes to tell me he loves Samuel.  "Me think us keep him." he tells me.

He got a new balance bike his birthday, and calls it his "wiggle bike".  After only 2 real sessions, he can fly on that thing!!  I'm sure he'll only get faster!

Something he likes to say because we laughed the first time:
"Me eat, me toot." or "Me eat, me poop!"  Kids get a great understanding of their digestive systems so early...

Being 3 months...

Samuel is so, so sweet!  He has been cooing and smiling and laughing for at least 2 months, now.  He usually has a sweet, quiet little voice, but he can talk really loud to get his point across.  (or is it to just be heard over his brothers??)
